The Periodontics Implant Clinic team extends a warm welcome to those visiting this web site. We have attempted to explain briefly the periodontal disease, and few of the treatment options to restore health and function of the oral cavity.
If the periodontal disease is caught at the early stages, the correction and control of inflammation is managed more predictably than when it reaches the advanced levels. The American Academy of Periodontology has provided a risk assessment test. We encourage you to take a few minutes and see if you are at risk for having or developing periodontal (gum) disease. Our goal is to mainain health of the oral cavity and the integrity of patient's dentition through prevention therapy.
In cases of sever periodontitis, sometimes a team approach is necessary to reconstruct the oral cavity to health and provide the patient with an acceptable esthetics and biologically sound function. We work very closely with our referring doctors to insure evidence-based treatment planning and proper execution of the proposed plan.
